Job Description

Environment of the company

  • Industrial company making 90% of its turnover abroad (Great Export)
  • Subcontractor for the Public Works industry (nuclear power plants, viaducts, tunnels, dams, oil depots, etc.)
  • Very strong evolution of the turnover (doubling)
  • Specialist of rebar splices for reinforced concrete, winner of a French recovery plan, nuclear tender.

 

Missions

Under the Commercial Direction based in France, within a growing organization with already ongoing activity in the world, you will :

  • Identify and approach target projects, already existing or planned, to be reported in detail and tracked as follows: project type, potential expressed in couplers quantity, steel fabricator(s), construction company, consultants. Gain the approval for Linxion couplers.
  • Strategic actions and visits to key consultants aimed at having LINXION system specified in the target projects.
  • Organize seminars and presentations to the key players in the target markets.
  • Examine the feasibility of a different business model, by approaching job sites and construction companies to create a winning synergy with selected steel fabricators.
  • Regular visits to LINXION customers, providing consistent support for their target projects (in order to have LINXION properly approved), and discussion on the sales forecasts.
  • Market and competition analysis, main players, their market share, their prices.
  • Contract negotiations with distributors or partners.
  • Monthly activity report.

Required profile

Training and Qualifications

  • Civil or Industrial Engineer
  • Knowledge of rebar fabrication, couplers and concrete structures 

Skills 

  • Fluent English Mandatory and one another language
  • French Basic is a minimum
  • High level and long term commercial negotiation
  • Sales products as a service in B to B

Qualities

  • Versatility, teamwork
  • Sense of service and contact (multiple internal and external interlocutors)
  • Ability to be efficient, rigorous, methodical and organized

Salary/Other

  • Annual salary will be based on skills and experience, and will include all allowances
  • Yearly bonus based on performance and results to be defined
  • Position based in the region close to the market, but occasional international travel is to be expected.
